Who is the FLORIDA SPORT SHOOTING ASSOCIATION?
FSSA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation of Florida

An organization of firearms owners, collectors, hunters and competitive shooters who work together to promote shooting sports and protect the interest of firearms owners throughout the State of Florida.

Sponsor of state championship competitions in small bore, air and international rifle, high power and service rifle conventional, air and international pistol, five separate silhouette disciplines, and other sport shooting events. State Championships awards are provided for all FSSA State Championship matches

Coordinates the efforts of members clubs and individuals by compiling annual shooting match schedules and match information. FSSA assists with operation of the shooting sports activities for the Florida Sunshine State Games.

FSSA assists in firearm safety education and marksmanship training by conducting seminars for hunters, shooters, instructions, and coaches.

Who we are:  Individuals who possess firearms for collecting, hunting, competitive shooting, and self-defense.

Our members:  Value the right to own and use firearms for lawful purposes and wish to safeguard that right so future generations may enjoy the shooting sports.  Participate in local, state and national activities that promote the safe use of firearms.

Members are informed of activities and results of FSSA activities through regular newsletters and special bulletins to inform members about legislative issues.

Officers, directors, and committee chairmen who oversee the general operation and activities of the association represent members in the organization. These individuals are elected or appointed. Includes; Junior activities, Small bore rifle, pistol, high power rifle, law enforcement, education & training, silhouette, legislative, and hunting.
